What stands out
The United States and the United Kingdom together account for 33% of all tracked companies, roughly 92 of 275. Canada and Germany form a clear second tier. Smaller allies are represented in proportion to their technology ecosystems, with Estonia, Lithuania and the Czech Republic notable relative to population.
Geographic spread widened over time: the 2024 cohort spanned 22 countries in the tracker, the 2025 cohort 20, and the 2026 cohort 25. The Warfighters Challenge selected companies from 6 countries.
