DIANA Warfighters Challenge for Decision Superiority

Announced July 2026, the Warfighters Challenge is a special track outside the annual cohort cycle, run with NATO Allied Command Operations and Task Force Maven. It is the most selective DIANA selection to date: 10 companies from 427 applications, about 2.3%.

- 10 selected companies from 6 countries: Czechia, Norway, Slovenia, Türkiye, United Kingdom, United States.
- Funding: €100,000 in contractual funding per company, rather than a grant.
- Focus: decision superiority for Allied warfighters (TRL 7+ focus), including autonomous undersea systems and AI-assisted decision tools.
- Live demonstrations planned for December 2026. Outcomes will be added to the tracker when published.
